- Early morning. Bergthora told me about her father raising horses. As a child she used to name them. One day she realized that father killed one of her favorite horses and served it for dinner.

- Bjorn (85) He used to be a farmer. Few years ago together with his wife he moved to a condominium building – It was just fine. You just adjust to new cirumstances and try to enjoy life – says Bjorn.
- When I woke up first morning I found lot of dead flies on the floor. It was a true graveyard.

- This community center was a really isolated one. There was a girl playing piano inside – My name is Hermina Fiolingolstottir and I’m 16 years old and I’ve been playing piano for 8 years now. I’m going to play some sort of concert tomorrow and I’v been practicing for that. I’m going to play 6 little preludes.

- Workers who built aluminum plant used to live here. They were mostly forigners. Every single room was equiped in: a TV set, a bed, a wardrobe and a chair. It’s now abandoned and ther is nobody.
